The Belles

Approx 3:00pm on the Crash Stage 2015

The music of The Belles includes vibrant folk and pop traditions and is expansive in its variety of sound styles and genres.

From the humble beginnings of a ukulele trio The Belles have grown and developed into a troop of eight playing a broad range of musical instruments. Banjo, ukulele, violin, guitar, flute and kahone are brought together with melodic and harmonious vocals.

In one instance you can expect a rousing foot stomping delivery of sea shanty or folk song dating as far back as the 14th century. Then be delighted with songs both vintage and original bringing you tales of love, trains and sailors :-).
The Belles bring a collective of music and songs, ever shifting but always entertaining..audience participation may be required..

But don't listen to us, this is what our audience says about us...:
'After watching The Belles at the Belle Vue in High Wycombe earlier they were absolutely delightful. Creating a special atmosphere, and very entertaining. If you haven't seen them yet, check them out when you get a chance, you'll love it. Thank you for a great night.'
'The Belles deliver mellifluous awesomeness! '
'Fantastic gig on Friday. Is there a more entertaining band in town at present?'
